With 90 years of experience in the pharmaceutical market, Anglo-french Drugs and Industries is a highly reputed organization, known to provide high-quality pharmaceuticals since 1923. After commencing operations in India by importing and selling pharmaceutical products, the company soon established its own manufacturing facilities in Bombay. The success of the venture resulted in an association with Swiss pharma giant, F-Hoffmann-La Roche in 1959. A lack of focus resulted in slow growth, and in 1985, it was acquired by the progressive Kanoria Group of Industries. Under the leadership of, Mr. Abhay Kanoria, Chariman and Managing Director, Anglo-French Drugs & Industries Ltd the organization metamorphosed into an ambitious and rapidly growing organization.

Credited with being the first company in India to manufacture “Single Vitamin” injectables and a combination of B Complex Vitamins, Anglo-french has emerged as a brand leader in the B-complex market. At Anglo-French, quality assurance is an attitude of seeking sustainable betterment in every aspect of our work. Anglo-French is continuously evolving. Our stature as a quality-driven pharmaceutical company that partners healthcare globally and our brand identity continues to grow with each passing day. This belief in “quality excellence” has accredited Anglo-French the prestigious IDMA awards in the year 1997, 2004 and 2009.

However, not satisfied to rest on past laurels, the company has expanded its base in numerous ways. Now a fully-integrated Indian pharmaceutical company, AFD manufactures over 250 formulations for various therapeutic segments, including Cough and cold, Anti-epilectics and anti-oxidants.

With this rich heritage, Anglo-French launched the Optima Division, a dynamic division focused on delivering high quality medications at affordable prices. With over 200 products, Optima is able to cater to the increasing needs of healthcare in our country.

The latest expansion to the basket is Bona Fide, a newly formed specialty division, dedicated to the needs of Rheumatologists and Orthopaedicians.

Bona Fide will closely follow the philosophy of Anglo- French of delivering high quality medication and services

Globally, AFD has a presence in almost 20 countries across the globe, including Africa, CIS and South East Asia. A robust pipeline of product registrations will result in sustained and profitable growth

Along with a strong marketing base, the organization’s commitment to high standards of quality is evident in it’s state of the art tableting facility at Peenya, Bangalore

With new markets, new products and new avenues of business, Anglo-French is more ready than ever to achieve its goal of being amongst the top 50 pharmaceutical companies in the country, with brand leadership in at least four segments. Looking at the market potential and the opportunity available, AFD will launch of one more division in the new financial year 2014. This division will offer a wide basket of trusted remedies, diversifying into Anti-Infectives, Gastrointestinal, Respiratory and Dermatologicals.
