At AFDIL, Quality is of foremost concern. In nearly 100 years of operations, we have continuously remained one of India’s most trustworthy manufacturers. Our commitment to quality is managed by current and validated technology, the best resources, effective cGMP, efficient and trained personnel, excellent production design and continuous in-process monitoring.
Distribution
AFDIL boasts of an impressive distribution network. Through our 25 Carrying and Forwarding agents and 2,800 distributors we make sure our products are available across India. Our teams meet over 75,000 medical practitioners and 50,000 chemists each month. Our products are sold to some of India’s largest governmental institutions; and our global footprint is in over 20 countries.
Production
AFDIL's production unit is located in Bengaluru, India and it is a WHO cGMP approved plant with a capacity of over 20 crore tablets per month. We manufacture tablets in the most appropriate form – plain or coated, along with suitable packaging – aluminium strips, blister packs and jars. There is constant research and development on new formulations and ways to make our products more efficacious; furthermore there is a strong focus on enhancing the affordability of our medicines through constant reinvestment and innovation.
BUSINESS DIVISIONS
Heritage
This division focuses on prescription drugs in the therapeutic areas of Nutraceuticals, Anti-Oxidants, Vitamins, Immunity, Antifungal, Immunity boosters, Cough Syrups, Anti-Epileptics, Hypnotic-Sedatives and Digestive Enzymes.
Nutralogicx
Focused on an aging population, our Nutralogicx division offers a complete portfolio of products focused on wellness & immunity. The product focus in immunity builders, fertility, liver health and general well-being.
Institutions
The Anglo-French Insitutional team serves the needs of India’s leading government, semi-government and corporate institutions like the Railways, AIIMS, Apollo, Steel Authority of India etc., as well as Government Medical Services such as DHS and NRHM. With a wide range of products, AFD is a preferred partner for most of India’s premier institutes.
Exports
Starting in 1997, the Exports Department exports products to countries such as Russia, Belarus, Mauritius, Ethiopia, Myanmar, Thailand and a host of other countries. Through an elaborate network of our own field force and partners the Exports team is constantly expanding AFD’s global footprint.
Surgical Disposables
Partnering with one of the U.S.A.’s leading companies, GRI-Alleset, this division offers disposable surgical gowns and drapes. The products are supplied to all major corporate hospitals and government institutions.
Optima
Partnering with M/s. Recova Pharma Expo Pvt. Ltd., the Optima division ensures that no one in India has any want of AFD’s medicines. More than 350 products in various therapeutic segments are sold across India at affordable prices.
